I noticed my new Pep(rebuildable) steering stabilizer works fine when turning to the right but doesn't seem to offer much resistance turning to the left, anybody else notice this, are the Pep's like that or did I break it? I didn't do anything that I know of to break it & its not leaking oil either.

Man, I wish you would have searched my previous posts concerning the PEP stabilizer (on the Raptor I assume)......this is one sad set-up. Mine does'nt work in the prescribed location.......and only clears in the middle position. I do have the same resistance on both sides though......check your installation. Good luck.

Had a pep on the 250x when I was TT racing it. Only worked in one postion like Gary's. Even in this one position, you couldn't turn the bars all the way to the left. Ended up bending it during a wreck.

Where can you find the GPR stabilizer. I am guessing you actually adjust the dampening? I love the feel of running a stabilizer, but after my problems with the PEP I have been leary.

i use Dentons steering stabilizer...the cheap one thats not rebuildable...have them on the warrior (Trails) and raptor(track). flows nicely left and right and adjusting is as simple as turning a ***. i've trashed rims, tires, tierods and balljoints...going on year three with no complaints and no wrist injurys...they are also universal so they will work on any quad i chose to buy in the future.

Thanks for the advice. I took it off the quad & I noticed it works fine both ways but it didn't work so good to the left when it was installed, oh well, maybe I'll sell it on ebay-to much of a pain in the a...ss to put it back on. I agree the Denton looks much easier to install/use. I looked into the GPR a while ago & I think they told me it was $275 or so-major bucks but I bet its sweet?

Chimmer

Here the web sire of GPR WWW.GPR-PRODUCTS.com

Here the kicker

It life time warranty, They will service the GPR steering damper free. Where you gonna find that deal?

It cheaper then Scott Performance and you have to pay for service like $65 a pop.

I really like it alot and use it all the time and also on desert racing, I can't live without it. Most of the desert racers used it. I am sure wood racers used it I think.

They will be glad to help you out.
