Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm big into building my raptors.And I've heard of talk about a race that consists only of four stroke quads in January or something? If anyone could tell me what the date is I would really appriciate it. Also, what class would my raptor compete in (It's destroked to a 570 on Nitro- methane)? Thanks for any replies. And I look foward to comparing notes with you guys and gals in the future.

The race is for bragging rights. On Martin Luther King Day Glamis, Ca. I'll be heading there so you can follow me and a couple of other guys.

Do you have any clue what the classes will be? so I have some kind of an Idea what my machine will be competing against.

There will be several quads there. I don't know the details of whats coming as I did not attend last year. there are plenty of guys who did though and they will let you know what to expect.

Just look out for the gokart with a V-Twin, an Inline 4 cylinder, and an RC30 engine all hanging out the back of it. That would be fellow forum nut SirClip. He shouldn't be too hard to miss.

One more thing.......

If you see a guy wearing an Naval Captain's uniform selling GoodWrench engines out of the back of a pickup truck with Alabama plates, just ride on by and pretend that you didn't see a thing.

Oh...And if you somehow can't avoid him...whatever you do...Don't ask him what he does for a living!!! You will be arguing for days, because he thinks that you want his job.

With Nitro you would be in the open class.
