mean leaning machine
#1
little by little I notice that my Kodiak is developing a slight tilt when viewed from the rear. I don't know if the preload on the shock has anything to do with this so I put it on the softest setting to see what will happen in the next few days. Has anyone else noticed this with their bike ????

I don't mean to be smart but is the air pressure the same in your rear tires? Unless you swingarm is bent I don't see how the machine could lean towards one side since it has a solid axle.
Hope its something simple.

Mine does this too. I fixed it. I went to the dealer with a friend to pick his up and I told him to look them all over and get a straight one. They all leaned to the right. I have see some others that were straight.
If you look at the rear frame uprights you will see that they got creative so to go around the large muffler. You will notice that the rack and fender is what is leaning. Also notice that the rear rack has bolts on the very outsides that supports (hangers) the fenders. The fender is what's sagging. I took off the rear rack and put 2 washers under the right rear rack to frame mounting tab and all is good. The Robot must have needed a adjustment.

Therock is right about the frame uprights as the location of the problem. I don't think it has anything to do with the robot being un-calibrated. My machine is also leaning towards the right slightly. If you are kneeling behind your machine and you grab the rear rack and move it up and down from left to right you can see the give the frame uprights have. I go around a track that is all right turns and I think when I am making agressive turns the frame uprights are bending slightly giving the bike a lean.
