Here is a shot of my rig. Kinda large. She's low tech but I love her!

nice i like the blue grey combo and the eyes but i think some good nerfs would look better than the stock ones. i have recently put in the same engine mods as you and havent broke them in i would like to know hom much hp are you getting and what gas are you using, and where you get those tripple rates from. thanks

That is a good look n quad. Gotta love warriors, unchanged for so long and they still look good. Looks like you have put some dough into yours, once i get a full time income I hope to hook mine up w/ some of the same engine work. Ride hard and stay safe. Warrior4969,
Thinking about the nerfs, just haven't decided if I like them enough to go for it. Don't race so don't really see the practical side to them. I really haven't broken mine in yet either. Using premium unleaded to this point, working fine. Really don't know how much HP I've gained but definately more power. The only real gauge I have for power gain, is racing a buddy with 2000 Warrior. Originally we were both piped and jetted depending on who got out of the hole better one or other would win by about a quad length. (I outweigh him by 100 lbs). We've raced once since the major mods and I was pulling away strong especially when we hit 3rd gear. Got the triple rates from MotoJoe, just installed them, gonna try them out Monday at Livingston. Come join us!

blazen,
thanks, the looks are getting dated on the warrior but if there were a classic quad the warrior would arguably be it. IMHO. Couple others would be the Suzuki Quadsport and the Honda 250R. Yeah I've spent some dough on her. Considered selling it and getting something newer before the mods, but couldn't come up with a reason to spend at least 5500 bucks on something new.

Did all the engine work myself. Only talking about $300 in parts for the cam, piston, springs. Not that bad. Took me about 8-10 hours to install them. Wound up taking the head to dealer to have the springs installed. Didn't have the right spring compressor to get the job done.

Running better every time I ride it!

What main jet are you running? I noticed that you got the Carb Kit, how much was it?

Thanks,

vdubn,
Dyno Jet Kit. Bought straight from their website. Cost me 57.70. Running the 146 jet which is a little bit rich. Will lean it out a bit once broken in good.
