I'm 6'2 and i weigh 200 lbs and happy with my blaster. It all depends on how u feel. Ride it first and decide, but i do fine on mine.

My friends huals me around pretty good and im around 2'3" at 240. Look like I stole a kiddies toy though. With me on the warrior and him (5'9" or so at around 130-150) on the piped blaster we were even off the line but then I left him and he never caught back up. I am geared real high because of tires though so I know my top speed is way more than his. Not much work done to mine either, just enough to require a 148 main jet.

Warrior feels kind of heavy and long, blaster feels to short. 400ex feels close to perfect. To me anyways. Never ridden a 300ex. Flipped and reversed my rear tires on my warrior though and it made it feel like a new quad, no more tipping over. Still not as nice as a 400ex though.

Just ride it and test it out. If you feel comfortable on it then get it. Just a note...you will probably be searching for more power in the future. I would go with the banshee.

"Yes" @ 6 Ft tall your really too big for a Blaster. Can you ride & control it "sure". Every once in a while I pile my 205 Lbs 5-9" behind on my sons Blaster for a quick put. Can I ride it? "yes", Do I feel cramped and ridiculous "yes". Also at my weight it pretty much a turd in the speed category. I agree with 02Baha that larger people riding them "look like a monkey's f-ing a football" (too funny). That expression hit home as my dad used to tell that to us boys all the time.

Go sit on it I am 6'4" and I ride my nephews but I can hardly shift and my knees are almost on the front fenders. It is a great performance bike it is with out a doubt faster than a 300ex in a race w/ a warrior it will pull ahead or stay even depending on the rider until 4th gear then the warrior walks it. My brother and I are the same weight and he had a warrior so we had to know.
But like I said first go sit on one and if you are comfortable (I doubt it) buy it if not look some more.

since alot of people have said mixed things, go site on one and see also go look at some used ones and test ride them to see if you like it or not, that is the only way you can tell.

To the people that are bashing the 300, they are very close machines in all aspects, they are even further apart when you stick that 300 in a tight trail against a blaster, its just my opinion but i think some of you are just aragant and biast.

The first year the blaster came out we were riding at the spillway jumping a leve. I had jumped it, you would launch off the top slam the brake and hit bottom of the other side. The leve is 12 or so feet tall. We this rocket scientist launches off the top WFO and goes flying we were sitting on our quads at the bottom I looked up to see the bottom skid plated as he flew by. When he came down he blew out the 2 rear tires the frame dug a hole in the ground and I do not think that guy will ever have kids but nothing was wrong w/ the quad. We got the tires back on the rims and aired them up and rode it. So thoes little dude are built seriously tough.
