I just purchased a 96 warrior and when I start it up it will idle perfectly but when you go to rev it up it will sometimes make a sputtering sound and stall. When it stall it makes an air sound. I have found no leaks in the airbox or headpipe. Also when you get going it will miss a little until its warmed up. I put in a new plug and it isnt the problem. Once the bike is running for 5 minutes it runs perfectly and will not have this problem. Also it takes it forever to warm up even on 80 degree days. Is this normal for warriors or what. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated

Mine used to do that I had some trash in the carb. Just removed it and cleaned it out. Now the only problem with mine is it smokes until its warmed up. Time for a rebuild.

I agree with warriormadness, it sounds like your carb needs a good cleaning, while your at it check your fuel filter also,

hondabigred, mine did just as you describe before some of the mods I just did. either opening intake side (k&n filter) or the idle mixture adjustment after the jet change cleared it up for me.
