Remember though, the new Honda will be a choked down version of the dirt bike. So it will never have the power of the dirt bike CRF450, nor the YZ426.

Also, I am not sure why anyone would want to put the 426 motor in a Rap frame. If you want to moto x, the Rap is not the best suited for that type of riding. If you just want more power, then you can mod the Rap motor to out pull the 426 for under the cost the 426 will be.

Ok, but if anyone finds out about how much a good raptor motor would cost, let me know if ya can. I am just throwing ideas around, trying to get some wheels turning. Sometimes that is all it takes and then whamm....someone comes up with a killer combo......

You could also buy an '02 CR500 motor from Service Honda for about $3000. That would give you a two stroke hit

Hell, there is a complete 98' CR500 in the post for 2800, that would be a better deal, then you could have two bikes. Oh well.

I second this.

As far as the cost is concerned on building your Raptor motor, well that just depends on how far you want to take it. It can cost as little as $1,300.00 or as much as $4,000.00. You need to give us a little more detail on what your trying to accomplish.
