I couldn't decide weather to go +2" or +4"...so I went +3". The inside of the extension is gusseted for strength and I am going to have it polished and anodized blue.

here is a pic...swingarm1

That looks AWESOME!! Whatever it cost, I'm sure it's a lot more affordable that spending $500-$700 on a new swing arm. Not to mention that pile of stock parts in my corner won't keep growing!!

Who did the work?? It really looks like they knew what they were doing!!

I can't decide on weather to get a +1 or a +2. I do lots of hill shooting @ Glamis and Dumont so I figured a +2 but a few people said +2 takes away from turning and sliding ability in dunes and woods.

My Raps built a little and its a little tough to keep the front down, if you know what I mean)

Let me know what you guys think!

I chose +3" so I can still weelie at will AND keep the front end down when launching in a drag race

I have the same type of extension on my stock swingarm. I went with the +2" and I love it! For $250 it was a BARGAIN! The Quad Shop did mine. Here is a pic:+2" swingarm extension

I highly recommend this modification to anyone with a Raptor! It has been one of my best investments (except for the 02 gear upgrade!)!

i added a plus 2 from quad central and it does not affect your woods riding at all...except you have to get your weight shifted to the rear to log hop...
+2 is a perfect comprimise for a non dune rider(no dunes in fla.)

How much more chain do you need for the plus 3? Mine should be getting done next week, but I don't know how many more links on the chain to get. I am getting mine done for a very good price, FREE.

Ward, mine was just a little more than your$. I bought a 120 link chain because I did not know what to get either. It was the same cost as a shorter link chain. You will have to break it anyway.

The guy who did my swingarm makes custom dragster and funnycar frames and "other" stuff. Now that he has a jig and 8' of aluminum stock, I will ask him if he wants to do more. (I brought him 3 swingarms and 3 more friends want theirs done too). If he does, I will post his info here so people can contact him directly. I am guessing he will do Raptor swingarms for less than $200 each. I will find out.

A new Lonestar swingarm and bearing carrier is $735. (out of stock)
Avenger = $943
Sandragon = $735
White Knuckle = $750

I droped it off on my way in to work and picked it up on my way home.
