Carson trailer has a pretty good deal, buy factory direct and save!
Plus, even though it only weighs 4400 lbs, only 300 more than the Weekend Warrior Superlite FK-21, it has a 10,000 gvw as an $850 option. A second 50 gallon water tank, some rear jacks, a spare tire and a pull down rear bed brings the total to just over $12,000. Base price is $10,495 for the 22' and $10,945 for the 24'. The layout puts the kitchen and bath up front, leaving lots of room for cargo/quads. I can get 4 quads in the 22 footer, which is probably what I will go for. I sure like the price, and the heavy duty axles.
The Weekend Warrior FK was looking like about 17 with a genset, but no axle upgrades are available. I'll put my own genset in the Carson, they want $3,000 for it with a 16 gallon fuel tank, no fill station. I'll have to ask them about that one...Carson FunRunner
ANybody have any good things or bad things to say about Carson?????

fourlix, i too been lookin into them. i saw the superlite in person and the only thing i didn't like about it is the shower area, tooo cramped. me being at 6'-2" i had to hunch over to be able to use the shower, not cool for something over $10,000. prehaps someone else has has more info, im intersted in this thread too.

I just purchased the Carson FD24 a couple of months ago and it has a full size bathroom and lots of room for my three quads. It has the heavy duty axles, extra leveling jacks, dual LP tanks, external shower, 6 tie downs, loft bed and it folds up nicely inside. It gets towed by my 02 Tundra 4x4 just fine. I cant believe how easy it towed up the hills and thru the dunes.

The Carsons aren't finished as well as some other brands (particularly the interior woodwork), but they aren't as pricey either!

My close friend has one and did not get their generator. He bought a Honda 3000W generator that he puts in the bed of his truck. Has more power, is quiet, can be used for other uses, and you can repair it easily if needed because it is not jammed into the trailer.
