fuel problem
#1
Well my warrior's had this problem even before I got the Big Gun exhaust but It's a lot worse now that I got the pipe. Anyway It's if I'm idling low(before you ride it a while, before it gets hot) and if I just punch it, it studders for about half a second, and then revs up. When I'm idling higher after it's hot it doesn't do it as bad. BUT, if I don't punch it but still get it to full throttle quick it doesn't do it. Do you guys think this is jetting? fuel filter? I'm not really sure, any info appreciated, thanks

megamax, sounds like a lean condition off the idle circuit. This could couple things I can think of. I'm not certian if the 92 model has an accellerator pump in the carb or not. If it does this would be the first thing I would look at, particurlarly if the carb has been apart already for a jetting. If you are not paying attention to the pump when pulling off the fuel bowl you can pull down the rubber boot from the tip side and it won't function properly. I've also put a common ink pen spring in mine as it is stronger and more apt to return it. The next I would persue is raising the needle a notch at a time to change the metering curve to a richer condition sooner in the throttle.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
