What was the worst accident you have ever had on any toy you have owned. Myself, RM 125, 4th gear pinned, 75 foot table top in a local sand pit, landed tottally on my friend/co-workers front fenders KX 250 and ate S#@T. 3 weeks on the couch and lots'o' pain killers. When I was up there I looked down and said "Man this is gonna hurt". Thats why I bought a raptor. New CR250 on the way. DUMBA$$!

I was on a 86 250R, in a new riding area (new highway construction), it got dark (250R headlights suck), tennis shoes, No helmet & alone (VERY, VERY STUPID), Going way too fast for a new area at night.

I missed the exit & was headed for a place where a bridge was susposed to go but it wasn't there yet, I saw it & locked up the brakes (man I was sacred sh!tless) I was sliding straight for the abyss that was 30' down to railroad tracks at 60 mph. I thought "This is gonna hurt bad" & if I don't die right away I'd surely be dead before anyone found me because the construction crew wouldn't be there for at least 10 hours (There goes the golden hour for trauma patients) I had time to think about all the stupid things I'd done on this ride & I saw the edge, "I thought again damn this is gonna hurt a lot" & the quad started to slow, I thought to myself, I'm gonna live WHOO HOO!! I got slower & I knew I'd dodged a big bullit.

Then the front tire hits a rock or a hole & I'm flying through the air, I slam down on my right side on a big pile of very large jagged & sharp rocks (Yep It really, Really hurt) I knocked the wind out of my self but I was very lucky not to hit my unprotected head, The pain went from my ankle to my shoulder but it wasn't too bad, Then WHAM!! The quad slams in to me There goes the left side, More pain (a lot of pain), every thing gets real bright (the headlight was shining in my eyes) the rest of the air is knocked out of me & suddenly everything got real quiet. I pushed the quad off of me & layed there & looked at the stars & moon, Glad to be alive & in a lot of pain.

It took 5 min before I could pull myself up off the ground. But I was still in trouble. I was 5 miles from my truck & had to kick start a high compression 250R that had been laying on it's side for 5 min with cracked ribs & a seperated shoulder (Yes it really really hurt).
I get it started & ride very slowly back to my truck every pebble made me cringe in pain & my shoulder would slip out of the socket every time I pulled on the bars. It took 30 min to get to the truck & another 45 min to load it without ramps.

It took me an hour & a half to get out of my water bed the next morning (I was black & blue from my shoulder to my ankle) & go to the Doctors office. A lot of good drugs & a month later I was where I could go back to work but was still sore.

Now I know my riding areas, Carry my cell phone & never never never get on my quad without my helmet.

Ive lost count of the number of times Ive come off my raptor. One particular incident put me in hospital for 8 days, 2 of which was spent in high care.
Now Im back with a vengance, and riding with my very own aftermarket accessories that cost me 10 times more than any accessory for my bike could cost.
Medical insurance paid....thank god, without it, would have had to sell the bike.

Here is some pics of my new titanium accessories (Entries 3&4)
I highly reccommend you all place your orders now.......NOT!!

So you finally got to test the rollbar bombrider, glad it helped instead of caused more problems.

& oh yea it did hurt a lot. But I learned an important lesson!

well, me and my uncle were riding at lake draper in OKC and there's this trail where you have about 150yds of strait clear trail to fly down, but you've gotta shut it down and slide sideways to avoid the 10ft drop into a canyon at the end. anyway, we were both on blasters, one was my aunt's! (trail were too narrow for his banshee) and he was leading. I got stuck and was hauling a$$ trying to catch up. well, it seems the mud packed my brakes, so even my hydraulics on the rear couldn't stop me. there was that freeze frame moment when your'e both like, OH SH!^, this is gonna hurt like hell. I clipped his right rear and we both went off the edge. here's the wicked part, nothing but a slightly bent handle bar and a whole lotta pain came outta this reck.

My worst came from a 600 katana. I was just going up the road .5 mile to my uncles house (there is no houses between us), so I neglected to wear a helmet. I knew I was low on fuel, but it was only 1 mile round trip. On the way home at about 50 mph (on gravel), I ran out of fuel. I pulled the clutch in and planned on coasting downhill to my house. I thought I had found neutral, but upon DUMPING the clutch I realized I hadn't. The rear tire locked and decided it was tired of following the front, so it tried to pass it. I let go just before the ground, and passed the bike in the air as it was sliding down the gravel. I landed on my hands and knees and rolled a couple of times trying to keep my head from hitting the ground. I stopped approx 35ft from where the bike first went down and the case broke leaking the oil out. When I stood up, I could see my jeans were almost tore off. Upon further inspection, I realized I could see my kneecap through the two 1.5-2" holes in the skin on my left knee. I walked 1/4 mile home, and had my mom take me to the hospital (first time ever having to go). The highway we were on has a speed limit of 60, but she wasn't going over 55 the whole way. We were in her car and my leg was cramping (its only a 35 minute drive from my house, DOING THE LIMIT). The doctor spent a couple of hours digging dirt and gravel out of my knee. I was laid up for awhile. I couldn't bend my knee since they had to pull the skin together to sew it. Three months later, it still hurts constantly.

Yall seem to get hurt a little more than me. Worst on my warrior sofar is one time we had different ideas about flight paths while jumping and the other day I ramped up an almost totaly vertical bank and when the rear wheels landed I got dumped on my **** and drug a few feet. So never really hurt myself to bad on my fourwheeler but on my old gokart i got up to about 35 or so then my rear wheel ripped off and i list steering. Needless to say i hit the nearest tree and put a 1/2 foot dent in the monster steel tubing bumper/frame. Wouldnt have hurt so bad if the gokart wasnt so solid. Just kinda blacked out and woke up cursing cause i couldnt get my head out from between the roll bars (it went between them and then they restrained me but my head couldnt fit back out) Kinda made me wish id left the foam on em too.

I was qualified to be the KNOWSALOT crash test dummy without even trying... that should tell you something.

Mine was about 15 years ago on my Yamaha YZ490. Blasting up an unfamiliar logging road probably doing about 70-80 when I went airborne on small rise. Landed just about the apex of a hard right hand turn. Should have bailed but basically locked up the brakes and decided to take my chances heading off the trail. About all I remember is flying through the air and striking tree branches. When I came too, a few seconds? later I was lying under a log not knowing what was going on. The crunching sound in my shoulder told me something was wrong as I started wiggling out from under it. All said and done I had shattered my collar bone, broke 2 ribs, punctured a lung and slight concussion. I had hit a large rock right at woods edge, flown about 30 ft out and about 20 ft down into a ravine. I put a nice body tackle on this log. It's really a good thing that I flew so far as between where I landed and where I took off was a very large rotting cedar tree. All that was left was the trunk and several 2-3 ft long spears protruding from it. Things would have been a lot worse had I hit it. I hit the log with my head first, cracking my helmet and breaking my prescription glasses. Put me down for 8 weeks.
