I first installed a pro-design filter kit with k&n
filter and White B. R4 exhaust on my 03 wolverine. It acted like it was running fine for whole day of hard riding. When I got home my torque stuffer had come in the mail from team alba racing. I took off the header pipe and installed the stuffer & reassembled everything. I took it out for a small ride to see how it would respond. Now, every once and a while it sounds like it back fires when you let off the gas. It was not doing this prior to the torque stuffer install. I waiting on my jet kit to come in the mail. Is this going to keep it from back firing & also what is causing it to back fire. One more question. My friend has a 03 grizzly & wants to know how to bypass the reverse rev limiter??

 

How much backfire? If its alot its either leaking around the headpipe or its runing to lean. Check for leaks it that doesnt help wait for the jet kit to determine what else it is.

 

Thanks for the help. How do you like the 489 xt tires compared to the stock? Did they give you any more ground clearance? I want some taller tires but I'm not sure what I want to go with.
