According to my service manual, when the machine is in neutral, and I hit the start button the temp light should come on temporarily. Mine doesn't. Can you guys check yours, and if it does, what do you think the problem with mine is?
BTW, are there any Canadian riders on thiis forum going to Algonquin next weekend?

Thanks Guys!
Ryan

Hey Ryan, mine doesn't either, but I know it works because it has overheated one when it was caked with mud

Here is a post on the Algonquin Lodge Run at Atv Time HERE

The service manual is crap, it also says that "turn on the ignition and the temp light should come on for a second with the engine off" that's wrong.... they have it screwed up.. if you want to make sure you temp light is working, just remove the right side cover and pull the white wire off the temp-sender and your light will come on.

Mine doesn't either!!! About this poker run, is it tied in with the Barry's Bay fish and hunt club poker run the same day?? We are running that on the same day and two weeks ago ran from that starting point(Riverland Lodge in Madawaska)down to Lake St. Peter. Took about an hour to get there. Our group is staying at Riverland that weekend so stop by and have a cold one( a canadian beer, ahem, not an import). Watch for the feds, some of the boys got it 2 weeks ago for not wearing their skid lids while playing in the mud holes around Whitney. Hope to see ya, or anyone else from this forum around that day. Look for a group of trailers on the waterfront in the campground surrounded by a bunch of noisy tipsy wobblers and ask for Dave

I don't think it's tied in, but here is a link about it. We are staying at the oriols nest campground in lake st. peter. Maybe we can hook up. Text
