Yea man, you have ridden your share of bikes, and you seem knowledgable and mature... you could handle a raptor just FINE.

Besides... there not THAT fast

Thanks guys, the guy I'm buying the Raptor from when I went to look at it, his room-mate was there and said that I couldn't handle it, he told me that it was almost uncontrolable and wickid fast. I thought it must not be too fast or they wouldn't make so many performance parts for it. I'll pick it up as soon as my EX sells.

hey mo {i like that} yer about my size except for the Budweiser tire i have around the waist. scrap the stock tires. thatll keep the tippy monster away. its a point and shoot sort a thing - youll love it and at yer age, a lot of body english wont bother you a bit! it'd better not!
and when yer trail riding....you'll like not worrying about keeping the engine buzzing, etc, if it's running, it will go up the hill, just give it some gas!
reminds me of old Maico 501...was a three speed....thats all it needed.
clutch yer upshifts and gently enagage reverse, and you'll prob be OK> most folks i talk to who are old farts <35 or older> do this as routine.
SO look closely, and if its what you like, snag it! its an addiction....every raptor owner will tell ya that... so be ready!

I'm shure I'll love it espically while climbing hills. I was climbing hills on my mojave and ran out of power near the top and I was trying to downshift, it started to roll back down! but I managed to get it in a lower gear, hopefully I won't have to worry about loosing power hill climbing with a Raptor.

Now I'm just waiting for a phone call for my EX, the Mojave already sold for $2700. I think I want the same for my EX but if a guy waved $2500 in my face I'd take it.

Losing power climbing a hill in a big 4 stroke like the Raptor lmao you better be sitting on the gas tank if the hill is big the only worry youll have is the short swingarm..
