I agree with biggerisbetter; but go with the 720 with a 30 or 40 shot of N.O.S.!

 

There is no replacment for displacment.

Well, actually there is, but nitrous can wear out your cylinders and pistons pretty quick. Get it bigger and a little more to drink.. Hey, you might even do what these guys are saying.. Give it some laughing gas too.

 

So sorry about your Tranny! I have the list of factory parts to make it an '02 if you need it.

I wouldn't do the fortin's unless they have come out with something better than what they had. Who was it that broke them?

What about the de-storked motor, don't forget it. That might be the way I would go, or I would look into it reel well.

If not that I would do like velocity said and go BIG.

Have you or are you going to report it to the CPSC?

 

Sorry to hear about your tranny.....I feel your pain!!! Get the Fortins......the 02 gears will only slow you down. Unhook reverse and don't look back. Make sure and report it to CPSC.....Yamaha needs to adress this tranny failure problem on the 01 Raps.
