Your paranoid, they dont call them two smokes for nothing. A puff of smoke every now and then wont kill you, if it smokes all the time then somethings wrong. Take a look at your plug and see how its lookin, that should tell you if its alright. Prolly just a dif brand of oil or something. Im not too keen on 2 smokes though, see what everyone else has to say, i say ur fine though. Besides your still under warranty right? so have fun.

Its most likely smoking because the engine is getting to much oil. If you are running the stock oil injection system, go back to yamahas oil made for injection systems. If you want to run klotz get an injection block off kit and premix it.

A friend of mine ran 927 oil in his and fried his top end.It says on the back of the bottle not for oil injected motors.I dont know much abuot klots but I would check that out.We put the block off on it and can run any oil now.

Id agree with peltrax just use the yamalube, it works fine no need to waste your time and energy trying the other oils

I strongly disagree.

Well your doing engine rebuilds Kyonic will be out driving becasue he is using synthetic.

Kyonic take my advice. Use amsoil synthetic injector oil for ATV, Snowmobiles, watercraft and so on. It is the best oil for any 2 stroke machine.

The problem you are having right now is that synthetic will flow much better then dino oil. You are pumping more then needed into your engine running klotz.

Amsoil injector is for mixing 50:1 so you would have to have your oil pump turned down so it can acomplish this.

However its always good to run a little rich.

I think that if you switched to amsoil injector you might be ok. If not bring the bike to your dealer and have them turn the pump down just a little.

The benifits of running synthetic in 2 strokes is huge. Unless you overheat or detonate thanks to bad gas your engine you will almost have no wear and might not need a rebuild for the life of the bike. When as using yamalube which is just regular 2 stroke oil probably made by castrol your engine will experiance wear and eventually need a rebuild.

I agree w/ mar run the sync but I would get the block off kit and pre mix. My nephew's blaster is very well maintained and we check it often, well is siezed on the trail on day due to the injector pump going out. Trust me it will go out one day and when it does you will block it off and rebuild. Save your self some money bloce it off now and premix then with out a doubt youe will be 100% sure your motor will be lubricated.
As for the smoke now check your plug. It is not uncomn for the dealer to premix some in the first tank so you may be oil fouled some.
