K guys,
I have a 88 warrior and i made a bet i could win a race tommorow. I put a pipe and removed the airbox but havnt had a chance to jet it yet. were is the air/fuel ratio needle at???? i needa get all i can outa this thing. i need it soon. thanks for the help in advance.

Well. it;s a little late to be thinking about peak performance if you race tomorrow and you didn't say what kind of race you are doing. I suppose it's a drag[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img].
Any way since you have a pipe of some sort, it's a safe bet that you're engine is lean if you haven't re-jetted.By the way how did you secure your filter to the intake with no air box or lid? I hope you don't plan to operate without the filter! Put the air box back on, drill the lid with 3 or 4 1" holes, and with no more info to go with, I'd suggest you go two sizes fatter (150) on the main jet, leave the jet needle in the 3rd position, and hope for the best.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img].As soon as possible after the race, you need to do a test ride & plug read to see what your engine is telling you as to proper air/fuel mix.
