2 weeks ago i bought a 03 raptor (after my 01 started having problems shifting) and was looking to take it easy and do it right until my buddy called me up and invited me to go to the mt. morris gncc race. so off we go sat. morning at 5am to take my brand new 3 hours old raptor to race in a 2 hour gncc race. anyways, the thing looked out of place with it's shinny black/red plastic and a grey haired out of shape old man on it. i lined up the sparkling beast on the vet line thinking this is not the recommended way to break in a quad. well they throw the flag and off we go. 50 miles and 2 hours and 13 minutes later and thanking God bill ballance lapped me. (so i wouldn't have to go another lap) i finished 5th out of 23 in my class and 80 something out of 246 riders in the over all. i broke that big bad dino in right. she ran flawless and i love the gear ratio of the 03's. now i'm thinking of running st,clairsville ohio gncc this weekend.

well, the motor is stock ,but the rest of the quad isn't. my 01 had the +2 axle,works triples w/rezzies,dampener,bars,nerfs,fresh razr's. so i had the aftermarket products to bolt right on...
