hey imma race a Banshee next year, anyone think these are good mx bikes? im just racing locally and my only competion is my friend on his stock raptor.. i know i can beat him easy cuz the raptor isnt exactly an mx machine but you wall think about the Banshee for mx? what mods would be neccesary?

 

are you stock if not you should get pipes and filter, proper jetting, if you have the money get some porting and new carbs.
the banshee is probably not the easiest thing to race with its on and off powerbans but if your good it will work fine my dad did great in his ice races (not the oval course like one with a whole lot of turns) on his moded banshee (duncan racing national pipe and porting kit) against all the other high performance quads he even won the main 24h race against moded raptors, 440EXs, ds's, and a highly modified 425R
you need nerfs. if you have more money you could get new shocks but thats a lot of $$$
