I would think that the EX would lose in both cases but i guess az sand and azsandjr say there 440EX was beating

First of all you don't know **** about quads if u dont think a 440ex on alky can beat moded banchees and raptors.. You have been talking a lot of crap about the 400 and i think you need to stop that ****... Why cant u see that if you put some money and time into a 400 it can be a fast quad?? So stop talking crap on the 400ex...

i beleive you now ok i could definetly see it beating stock banshee's and Z400s expecially since she is probably lighter then the average guy and most likely a good rider just relax i was't triing to crap out the EX
i have nothin agaisnt 400EXs there a great quad and they work great in racing they have excellent handling and i'm sure that the 440WOuld smoke mine. And your right if you put money into a 400EX it can be a great quad

i think that everyone is intitled to there own openions about the different quads the 400 is a great race quad and a great overall quad. I just think that if your buying new the Z is the way to go in the 400 range it has little more power, similar handling, more mod potential, liquid cooling and reverse for the same price.

 

dont worry toomey blaster,there arnt too many 440ex's out there thatll beat raptors,ds's,banshees,with the normal bolt on modds.the 440ex would have to be very very high strung,or on alky,mabey nitro blend.heres the bottom line- speed cost money son,how fast do you want to go? you take that blaster of yours,stick a ct 40hp 240 kit on it,run it on alky,mabey see if you can get some extra race porting,shed the weight down to around 280lbs.and you wont have to worry about very many 440ex's.

 

From what I hear AZSANDs 400 is one most people need to worry about.

what did you do or what are you doin on your raptor do get 70hp a big bore kit with porting and pipes?
