Hey man.. you sure that bottom end is good????

It might need more than you think. Gears? crank bearings?

Why would anyone put 98 plastic on one? I think my 98 plastic is ugly as crap. Anyways, what happened to grenade it? Cam chain break?

This guy brought it in and wanted to put a high compression piston for it and a cam and was told to put racing gas. He brought it back a couple weeks later and blew it up. The dealer drained the tank and there wasn't ne race gas in it. The guy wanted the dealer to do it again and the dealer wouldn't because the guy didn't pay the parts and labor cost for the last service. Then one day the guy walked in a took the head. So the dealer just wanted what he put in it. Which was 600$.

I'm skeptical of it really being a '01 with '98 plastic. Why would somebody put all OLD plastic an a fairly NEW quad??? Hmmm??? Did you get a title with that thing???

Still, for $600, it's a fair deal for the rolling chassis I think and if the motor is easily fixable then all the better.

Check the vin to see what year it is and start engine hunting, 98 plastic is extra extra ugly so not many people would put that on there unless their other plastic dissentegrated. If thats really a 2001 then the tranny should be real nice. Im still wondering how he blew it up, warrior is pretty bullet proof. Must have not followed break in procedure or used crap gas or something. Warrior will nickel and dime you to death but they dont usually break anything big unless its the cam chain breaking or somone didnt put it back together right after the engine work.

Warrior head is real common on ebay, dont see many cyclinders though. Might have to get OEM which is way over priced.

Yea, got a title w/ it. There r about a million screws missing to hold the plastic on. I don't know what this guy did w/ it.
