I was wondering if you could put nos in a 2001 mojave what would I have to do? I want nos in it cause I am ice dragracin the mojave in the winter and it needs a facelift[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Yes, Nitrous will work.

NX makes kits as well as Nitrous works, they sell a kit called "Mr. Mister, 169$, 15-25 shot adjustable.

I have the kit, just no time to hook it up yet.

 

do they have a special mojave kit? will I need bigger pistons? what else? Is it reliable

 

how often do I need to fill the tanks? how much of a power gain will it have,I also was wondering if instalation was easy

The NX kit comes with either a 10oz bottle or a 2lb bottle, I would think the 2lb bottle would be good for about 2-3 1/8 mile passes, and maybe 1 pass out of the 10oz bottle. Costs 2.50$/lb here to get a bottle filled.

The only thing I would worry about is hitting the rev limiter on the spray and backfiring, it would probably kill something in the motor if it happends too much.

I wonder if you can hook up an external tach?

 

would a cdi help? does the Nos automaticly inject or is there a switch?

 

Most car kits come with a full throttle switch, you can use a button if you want, but it's a PITA.

I am not sure about the ATV nitrous kits.

 

anybody else know of kits or what to do?
