Getting down to crunch time .

Those that plan on coming what do you want to run.

First i say we run for fun the 300 and 660 foot then line them up and go.

1. mini 300 foot class All 2 stroke 80 and 90's and fourstrokes. Any object if a yamaha breese shows up??
2. 250 4stroke class
3.400 4 stroke class
4. 660 and under 4stroke class
7. 777 and under 4 stroke Fuel (race or pump???) Alky or no alky???
8. 777 and under 4 stroke anything goes as long as on one in the crowd gets killed??? I has heard of a few buying a gallon or 2 of nitro


9. Banshee class???Size?? You 2 strokes need to fill me in on this. How many different classes do we need????

Going to start work on trophies today, so put your imput in . Trophies for the 300 foot events or 660 events or both???

If you want to run in the next bigger class, does anyone care??? Example 400ex in the 660???

Yeah..I think both 300' AND 660' is a great idea. Plus..nobody will say "I could've beaten you in the 300' " or vice versa[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
I think anyone should be able to run in whatever class they want..but only by going up in class..not going down as this would be unfair.

 

What about the "grasshopper" Got to do something for him. Dam the bad luck on the cover. The one i bought off of ebay was zero value. After going back and forth with the seller it is in the fraud department of ebay for mediaction at this point. The cam journals are destroyed in the head and the cam was almost ground in 2. RRC has a cover for chris's machine, but as tech as the fit is , i doubt that he will loan it out. Anyway rrc will be back sunday and we will see what can be done. Keep searching "grasshopper"

I have pictures of my broken head cover, I think I will bring it to a machine shop this weekend, to see what they can do. Anyone want a picture? You can tell me if you think it is fixable or not. This bites @$$. I wanna race!

 

anything is fine with me. do you want an entry fee to help pay for the trophys or just taking donations like last time? i really only think we need trophys for one length 300 or 660 don't matter to me.

 

Raptorboy- it does not matter on the $$ Last time i gave that money to the volenteer Fire deptment for watering the strip for us. buy the way it was almost 50 dollars.

Adam how'd the "Head Cover" brake? If you don't mind me asking. Didn't you just put in a HotCam? TIA

 

WSHrdskn- be careful taking the cover off you you install a cam. Do not pry off. Be careful tapping with mallet. The head cover has a seleant on it and has a couple dowel pins for alignment. There is a little more to 'grasshoppers" story but it should not have broke. So the moral of this story is check, double check and you should be fine. It is generally on the 1st time the cover is hard to get off. I snap my fingers and the motor unbolts it self now. Bought new bolts last time .....
