Default GYTR Jet Kit, anybody use one?

I just bought a yosh comp full system and ordered the gytr jet kit for my raptor.

They say the kit is for aftermarket exhaust and modified air boxes. The kit comes with pilots, mains and needles.

Does anybody have any experience withthis kit?

Is it better or worst than the dyno-jet kit?

TIA!

What size pilots? New needles? Why don't they just put these things in when they make their quads? Oh, my bad. Then they can't get a piece of the aftermarket pie.

I got the kit from my local dealership for $60.

The one package to the left in Raptor58's pic looks like what I got.

I'm just going out on a limb here when I bought the kit because they don't say what size the jets are just that it's for air box mods and aftermarket exhaust.

I should be coming in sometime next week. I'll post back and let everyone know how it turns out.

wshrdskin, I don't see why they would include it with the stock quad.

Default GYTR Jet Kit, anybody use one?

I picked up the GYTR jet kit at my dealer last night. I'm new to jetting but I have to say it's a pretty good package. 5 main jets (I have to believe they're Mikuni but ?): 145, 150, 155, 160, 165; 2 25 pilot jets, 2 needles with a greater taper than the stockers and 4 E clips. It also came with some half way decent instuctions and recommendations (stock w/ lid, stock w/o lid, gytr pipe w/ lid, gytr pipe w/o lid).

I'm going to start with 160 & 165 mains with the 25 pilots for no lid, K&N with precharger and full yoshi compitition pipe. Any suggestions?

I can't wait to try out my new and improved raptor!

The kit worked out great! There's power everywhere in the powerband and it hits hard. I just followed their instructions for a no lid air box and aftermarket pipe and I jetted it right on the first time.

Mukuni Jets are sized differently than Dial-A-Jet. I believe somebody posted a chart comparing the two. If I remember right, the Mukuni 165 jet was equal to DJ's 180+-. Do a search and you could find it.
