Default Tips for installing new grips?

The absolute best way, I have found, is to use some Super glue. Put a good amount throughout the entire grip and work fast. It will go on easy and there will never be any need to wire them on either. The grips wil be on good after only 5-10 minutes time, will never slip, twist or get lose because of water.

Taking them off is not all that hard either. Get it to start to roll up and roll it all the way off. Use nail polish remover or alchol after the grip is off the handle bars, allowing to remove any dirt, glue or whatever.

I have been doing it this way for years and it works great.

chad400ex is correct, when you buy the grips buy a tube of grip glue, put a little on and the grip will slide home. let it dry over night and then your grips will not slip. just cut them off when time for new grips.
Also if you ride in wet areas but do not race it makes wire tying them un-needed.

The airhose trick works the best for me. I love renthal grips. They last the longest and stay tacky the longest. However, do not use anything but renthal's grip glue. Last pair I tried scotts grip glue and it melted the grip.

I also use the airhose method, works great! I like Renthal medium diamond compound grips. But out of all my grips, the ones I find last the longest, and feel the best, and stock Bombardier DS650 Baja grips. They are my favorite, I use them on my Raptor, too. lol
