How to properly disconeect parking brake?

RaptorRookie...
There were a couple of threads not too long ago regarding taking off the E-brake and what to do with the wires.
The info helped me a lot... One was a post called "Replacing perch and clutch lever on Warrior" where Raptor660RNH said what to do with the wires. The other one was "Warrior Putters", and mascman also gave the same advice.
I'll let you read for yourself instead of taking a chance on me getting something screwed up in the translation.
I don't race, but that E-brake has made me curse more than once, and like Ward says....it is bad ugly!

I disconnected mine at the first connection point from the lever, then I went down 4-6 inches and cut the wires (in case I ever wanted to put it back on I could strip the wires and re connect). Then I taped the wires up seperatly because together the motor would sputter and then tie strapped the loose end to the frame. As an afterthought you may not need to cut the wires, start the motor and give it some gas to see if it sputters, you may just need tape up the wire plug to prevent shorts.
Hope that helps.
