Has anyone used this setup? I really hate the stock Raptor airbox design and I am looking for something different. Mine airbox and filter are both stock for now. Do you all have any suggestions on what to do next?

Here is a link to the CFM airbox on Ebay.

Check out Pingry's aluminum airbox. I believe they have one that houses the battery as well as being a bigger air box.

Pringy air box does not house the battery. It just the airbox only....

I spoke to a Pingry's rep two weeks ago and she said they were building new air boxes that also house the battery like the one on the orange Raptor built by Four Stroke Tech! Maybe she lied. Go to www.ppdracing.com.

For 150.00 bucks for a box is kinda high I think. I would probably pay 80.00 but man that is rediculously high priced I think and have heard others agree too.

Well if they decide to include the battery as you know the plastic that hold the battery would be cut away. and I don't see the point of doing it.

Would be they might be talking about other bike? just asking....

JMO, but $150 for the peice of mind that these types of boxes provide, is definitely worth it (Graydon, CFM, Pingreys, etc).

Compare the cost of the Pro-Flow (PF) system and what you get. Just my experience, but I have seen where the PF will let contaminents through the flange if not siliconed on. The sealing of the flange is no where as good as the type and amount of protection you get with one of the aftermarket boxes.

Good luck with your decision though.

I use the Graydon, as they were the first to offer anything. It has bends on the sides of it and I put velcro strips on the bends all the way around it. I then used a velcro outwears lid with the water proofing as a lid. Breathes great and keep the majority of the crap out too!
