Default 440ex Vs Raptor

Today we dragged bandits new 440ex (cam/piston/440 kit) against an all stock raptor. Im guessing the 440 would have wont but the grass was wet and with those 18's all he could do is spin the tires. They both spun the tires alot but the bigger 20's hooked up better. All through mid range they were right beside each other and then the raptor started to get ahead but that had somewhat to do with the fact that the 400ex was scary as all heck to ride on that wet grass. Kept wanting to slide every which way, not to mention the 400ex has to start stopping much sooner, it couldnt stop worth a flip either.

IMO and from what I have personaly experienced, a well built 440 ex will beat a completely stock Raptor. Actually, if it is a "well built" 440, it should embarras a completely stock Raptor!

Well, the 440ex was too squirely on the wet grass. Both of em ripped up all the grass for atleast 20 ft. Guess those little 18 inch razors just dont cut it. Pun intended.

A good friend of mine totally wasted my piped raptor on his 416ex by 4 bike lengths in 300 yds... but ofcourse he had a large investment in head work too.. ( from when it was a 502ex and blew it up on nitrous) it dyno'd at 44 hp believe it or not.

Might have been IMS, im pretty sure it was done by white brothers, dont know what they sell. Not sure how much power it has but with my 200+lb **** on it i stood it on the grab bar in second gear while leaning forward. It has a 16 tooth front sproket too.
