Has any one found a aftermarket or automotive replacment for the Raptor oil filter, I,m tired of getting screwed by local dealers for $ 16.00 filter, it cost less for a oil change on my truck

The one The Moose got is scott performance oil filter is reusable over and over again. I got it after Moose mention on the forum. It work great. You only pay the price once and it will last a lifetime. it will pay itself after about 12 - 13 oil change. I think the price is about 120.00 to get it. The web site is http://scottsperformance.com/

Chet you crack me up!!! LMAO!!
I got the Scotts reuseable filter. It works just like a System 1 filter. You disassemble it & clean it.
Here's what comes with the kit
It has a magnet built in
Here it is assembled
Stock & Scotts side by side
Installed on Raptor
It's about 3/4" longer than the stock filter with the GYT-R billet cover, It's kinda pricey but when you're paying $16 for a Yamaha filter & you add a GYT-R billet cover for $30 its not that bad, It'll pay for itself.
Here's a link to The Scotts web site
It's part # S1
