#1
Hey,
A friend of mine was tellin me about a drag 250r 3 wheeler he built back in 89. He had it bored to 330, 2 carbs, ran on nirtomethane, had a ceramic topped piston,an almost unbreakable rod.port and polish job,and it had nitrous. they said it was fast and i mean fast.
i just wanna know what happend to helm and son??? i never heard of them they got out of buisness???
i know they were in cali or arizona. If they are still in biz got a site??? howbout a parts catalog????
Thanks In Advance

That's a good question I use to run a lot of their stuff back in the day myself. I use to flat track a 185S with a bunch of their stuff on it. At least I ran that until the 350X and 250Rs started getting popular. Seems like around 1980 or so.

I used to import a lot of their stuff into Australia years ago. I think there was a fire in the mid eighties that closed them up. I visited their workshop in Phoenix in 1982 and was very impressed. I am still using old stock Helm and Son strokers in my hopped up 110's and 200's.
