Default axis Vs works for my raptor

I know i posted somthing like this before but I want to buy either Works Pro Series Triple rate fully adjustable with/res or Axis duel rate fully adjustable with/res for my raptor, I mainly do Trails and mx. I want to know which of the two are better(head to head) in the way of wheel travel, performance, reliablity, looks and anything else i need to know on purchace. Axis are pretty expensive so are they worth the extra money.

who else has got these respecable setups?
how do you like it?

thanks guys

Go with Elka's. Custom Axis is alot better than Works. You'll pay out the Bung for it though.
So......................................Go with Elka.

I dont have either

But like Ive said before, you cant compare the 2.

Axis - top of the range
Works - closer to bottom of the range

Look at the Elka's

he is not talkin about normal works he is talkin about the pro series. they have the bigger shafts better valving ect than the normal works and they are sposed to be really good. i have never heard anybody who has tried them against elkas or axis tho but i do know the axis shocks are awesome and so are the elkas.

I run the Works pro-series w/piggy back res. mounted to +2 Timmy-Boy arms. My riding is about a 50/50 mix of technical woods & dunes. I have never taken my rap. out on a MX track so I don't have first hand feedback on that, but I'm sure they would work well. Like was stated before Axis are top notch but so is the price!!! If I had to purchase shock's over again I would'nt hesitate to buy the pro-series. You really can't go wrong with either!!!!

Don't overlook TCS shocks for your Raptor. I installed a set along along with +2 A-Arms and they work great. You can get two front shocks and your rear stock revalved for $1300. TCS has a much faster turnaround time than Axis. I also have a 250R with top of the line PEP shocks and I like the TCS front Raptor shocks better, they are more plush.
