I give between $1.25 and $1.75 a gallon. You burn twice as much as you would gas.

Ward, on a four stroke, the main jet alone can supply all the fuel needed for an alky motor. A 2-stroke requires so much more fuel at WOT than the main jet alone can offer. That is why most 2-stroke alky carbs have a booster jet. If you went with a HUGE main jet in the 2-stroke, the fuel wouldn't atomize correctly.

remember to drain the stock carbs after runnin alky in 'em or it'll dry up the rubber.

Risener151, most stock petcocks are large enough to supply an alky engine. Some large (500cc+) banshees, quadzillas, etc, need a pulse fuel pump. Four strokes like yours should be fine. Do a little more searching on here. There were a couple of stock raptor carb conversions recently.

Justdragit, you run gas through the engine to flush out all of the alky so it doesn't draw moisture that causes corrosion. Not because of the seals or gaskets.
