Waiting all week to go riding, go out in the back yard and do a couple laps while im trying to figure out where to go. Then neighboor comes over and I let him ride it a bit. Now, they switch that only lets you crank it when the clutch is pulled has been shorting out and you some times have to pull on the wire a bit to get it to make contact, this time when i pulled it i heard some very quite tiny zap noises behind me. When he got off I couldnt get it to crank at all. So i pulled out the switch and undid the wire connectors under the hood and a spider fell out of one which was also full of dirt? How did a spider get in there? or how did dirt get in there. I guess that was the cause of the short, good part is the base of one wire is male and the other female so i just plugged them together. But still wont start Guess the shorting zapped something in the electronics so now I'm SCREWED and SOL. That push starting crap dont work either, just locks my tires up.

check your main fuse coming of your starter relay, then try testing the batterie, then try bypassing the starter relay, if the engine spins but does not start it could mean that your main kill switch is not making contact or your cdi has some lose wire's or your starter coil is not sending spark to the plug, accually pull the plug and see if your are getting spark when jumping the relay! I have had many problems with the electrical ignition on my warrior so I will have zero problems tryng to help you!

Im going to go check that main fuse. The thing runs fine, its only the starter circut thats fried. Im about to go ride now, have to do the push and drop the clutch method to crank it.

Nah, not that, did it all at once. My battery is awesome can crank and crank and crank and it never dies (not all at once or id fry the starter ) Just now the juice aint getting there. If I cant figure it out after I get all my engine work done im going to wire it up myself.
On a side note, at my house we push started it first try. When I took it to my friends we tried for about 400 yards (works best usin 3rd gear). Then it FINALY got started and i told my friend to get off, instead he took off and 30 seconds later he stalled it. He ALWAYS stalls it. Stops and forgets what gear hes in and tries to get going in like 6th gear or some crap.

when you jump started it of the truck did you put the cables on the batterie or directly to the starter? If you went from your batterie and got it started then your batterie is dead, or the conections are lose!

Are you sure they clutch wires are tied together good. I have mine wired directly together. It starts anytime I need it to. Your starter relay may be shot. Mine made some clicking noises and wouldnt start after going thru some deep water. Did you jump it directly to the starter or thru the battery? If you hook up on the battery and it starts, its a loose connection or a bad battery. Good luck with it.

I'm with VirginRider and WarriorMadness on this one. If you are jumping it at the battery then you've pretty much got your problem narrowed down. Bad battery, or bad connection, possibly not getting charged.
