alright we juss replaced my piston and put the engine back in and we got everything right except that my friend put one of the hoses in the wrong spot. its the clear hose that almost looks like it comes from the gastank maybe?? but it goes into the bottom end of the engine over by the kicker. it ran w/o it for awhile and then it started cutting out on me and then it died and for like 5 minutes we couldnt kick the kicker it was like the engine was seized.. but then suddenly we could. so we put the hose back on but im shure there is something else we have to do.. got any ideas anyone?

 

come on i know someone out tehre knows what im talking about!!! were going to go out there right now and see if maybe it will start. it has compression. wihs me luck!!! help guys!!

 

that sounds like your tranny breather hose and it shouyld have nothing to do with performance

 

yup thats what it is the breather house.. so anyone got any ideas on why it wont work? here is what we did. we replaced the piston and put the engine back in the blaster. started it up let it warm up for a lil then i started riding on it.. ran great for a few minutes then i noticed it kinda started tryign to die if i let off the throttle.. i kept riding... it died a few times.. started up next kick.. then it would juss die completly like the second i let off the throttle. then i was gonna check and make sure i could go into the highers gears hit about 4th gear was about half way up in 4th and then out of no where it dies ... and then i couldnt crank it so i pushed it home.. by the time i got i could kick it again lol?? so anyone know whats wrong? does this probem sound expensive? i can go check just about anything right now if you have any more qeustions

 

do you think tha tmaybe that since he put that breather into a spot on the carb that it ran with way to much air ?? if so then what needs to be fixed?

 

Are you saying you couldn't actually, physically turn or kick the motor over???

 

right but only for a lil bit now it turns over just fine

 

but still wont start.

any chance u blowed a head gasket, maybe it started to leak and got worse, thats kinda wierd it locked up like that, i think u should go back and double check.
