Default Yoshimura Questions?

Does anybody know how durable the Yoshi titanium exhaust as compared to the Yoshi Stainless system? Is it worth the extra $$$$$$? Thanks in advance everybody.

I have the Stainless pipe and I have been very happy with it. All you will gain is slightly less weight. If shaving all the weight you can is important and money isn't as much of a factor you may want the Titanium pipe. Performance is going to be reasonably close between the pipes, if not the same.

Which one is the triangular shaped one, or Tri Oval as they call it?

I think that Tri-Oval is a new style. I have seen it offered for the Z400.

Mine is oval. After new install - with stock plastic

Somebody on here has got the Tri oval on a Raptor, I can't remember who though. Have you seen a Ti one in person? Maybe it has something to do with the TEC.

I have the full titanium yoshi on my raptor. mine is the older design with the oval. The tri-oval is the newer design and from what i have seen, all the titanium's have it now. My pipe is the full race version with no spark arrestor and no T.E.C. It is a little less restrictive then the stainless version, but the big difference is the weight.

Thanks for all the responses everybody! I believe I will go with the Yoshi Stainless system. I believe it will last longer than the Titanium one and it costs less too! Once again thanks everybody that responded.

I really wanted the Titanium system but after my conversation with one of the guys at Yoshimura I opted for the Stainless system instead. I was told by this guy that unless I was a "racer" I was better off with the Stainless system especially because of the terrain that I ride in.
