Default Need Dura Blue help fast!!

I am installing my new dura blue eliminator axle as I type this, in the parts bag there was a ring that is not a spacer for the wheel.... Does anyone know what its purpose is? Do I need it? One more question, I have heard this before and it looks true on mine, the axle looks like it sticks out further on one side then the other, does it or is it just playing mind games with me??? Thanks in advance!

My guess is it is the ring that holds the axle nut in place.

That ring clip is the C clip which goes on the rotor side of the axles. This clip allows you to tighten the axle nut against the clip. If the clip wasn't there, the axle nut would have nothing to tighten against. Push it on with a couple of big screwdrivers and then tighten the axle nut. Use lock tight on the axle nut.

I don't think it is the c-clip if he is comparring it to the spacers. I think it is a spacer for the axel, I can't remember how it goes though. Try putting it on the short side of the axel somewhere. I know this is late but I hope it helped.

The axle is on, and it does look longer on one side, don't know what the extra piece was, but it is not the circle clip, looks more like a spacer and it is grooved on on side?? Other then that, the axle is on!

I believe that axle fits more than just the Rap. maybe that piece is used in another application. Maybe on the Blaster, Warrior or the Banshee???

Yep, I just read the blaster part of the instructions and that piece is part of the blaster set up! Good call Raptor Ryan!
Now I just have to play with the spacers and get it the same on both sides!
