Just curious as to how it could only produce 17.7 when the blaster produces 17.8 stock. That doesn't make any sense. I'd go with 19-20, but it's just an educated guess.

Rottwolf, the reason the Blaster makes as much horsepower is.....it is a 2-stroke! 2-strokes make more power than a 4-stroke equivilant! The Warrior is low on horsepower for a 350cc 4-stroke engine!

I wouldnt pay to much attention to that website considering the fact that they say the warrior has 18.8 hp stock and if you go to the rest of there tests they say the wolverine wich has the same exact engine as the warrior has 13.8 hp. and then if you compare the two tests on the 400ex that is stock the horsepower is also different.

OK, assuming Yamaha provides accurate information you can calculate engine HP at max torque RPM (which will be close to max HP). Equation is HP=Torque(in ft-lb)*RPM/5250. In summary:
Banshee 44 hp @ 7000RPM
Warrior 23 hp @ 6000RPM
Blaster 20 hp @ 7000RPM

Unfortunately, Yamaha is the only ATV manufacturer I know that provides torque data on their engines. Again, this is ENGINE HP, not the HP at the rear wheels most magazines post.
