Problem with clutch
#11
When I put on a new perch on my Raptor I had the same problem. The deal is that most aftermarket levers pull easier but not as far so all you probably have to do is loosen the adjustments down by the motor and adjust the slack out of the cable using the adjustment by the motor. This is the "coarse" adjustment. When you have this set right you can fine tune it with the perch adjustment. Hope this helps.

I just went through this with my lt250r. My clutch started slipping at the dunes and when I got home I changed tires and rode it and it was really slipping bad. By the time it was all said and done I had replaced the basket, pressure plate and clutch only to find it still doing it. I found the tires on the back had no air whatsoever but they were hard enough they looked normal. The only way I found it was I saw a little black powder around the wheel.

whatever you do, don't put Barnett clutch fibers in there. They are carbon fiber or kevlar and when they wear, the fibers (sand like material) float aroun in your oil and will demo you motor. The Do a search for more info.
