I'm sittn here letting my kids watch scooby doo the movie. and I just saw the scene where shaggy rides a Raptor. To bad they put 2 stroke sound effects with it. It looked cool though.

 

We have a local Radio station along with a Local bike shop that is giving away and Yamaha Grizzley. Its pretty funny that the ATV sounds in the back ground are 2-Stroke. I think they do this because the 4-strokes really sound muffled will recording and a 2-strokes sound faster to the listener/watcher.

Check out the movie "Ten things I hate about you." About 10 minutes into it, there is a guy on a KLR250 dual sport (uses the same engine as a mojave). It also has two-stroke sounds. I noticed it right off.

 

i think that would rule to throw like a zilla engine or a banshee in a raptor frame...why? i have no idea, but it would be cool though wouldnt it?

 

Went over to my friends house and he had one of those popular hunting games and on there you can drive a fourwheeler. Its a big mud one and when I took off it sounded like an 125 dirt bike and only had 2 gears. Even had the choppy idle part going. Guess they stole the sound affects from some other game. I was almost considering watching scoobie doo, but not now. I know I would just sit there with a funny look on my face for a long long time. When we were watching Anaconda as a family in the living room my dad cut the movie off when the person shot a bolt action 4 times fast into the snakes head without reloading. Movie makers are stupid, they should get me to preview and tell them all the really stupid stuff they did. For instance the guy who made all the Lethal Weapon movies was an avid GUN HATER, when they went to the weapon rental store all the big shots picked out some 22 calliber guns and said hey, these look cool.
And dont you hate how people always points a gun at somone and then ***** it? I think if I were going into a shoot out my gun would already be cocked before I got the first person in my sights. They need to do away with all the extra gun cocking, it annoys the cynic in me.

 

I thought that was kinda weird also, I would think they would want to keep them sounding like 4-strokes to keep the tree hugg....environmentalists happy.
