I belong to two ATV clubs in Northern New York. We as a club belong to the North Country trails association. We are trying to develop a trail system that is maintained by the clubs and mostly funded by the state. We are in the beginning process, however hope to get cooperation from atv clubs, towns, counties, state, and land owners. You can see the big obstacles, but with as many members you can get in the clubs the more voice and power you can have with political personnel. I highly encourage everyone to join in a club. I belong to the Adirondack ATV riders and the Black River valley riders inc. I of course ride a 99 Wolverine. Which makes the trail riding most enjoyable.
