Geez these guys must be loaded,,,,Works shocks are great. Zero pre-load is no big deal, just part of a good shock setup. That has more to do with it than anything, set-up. Right springs, right valving, right preload. Save yourself a ton of dough and get works shocks, spend the time to set them up right. Even Elkas and Axis and anything else out there can come set up all wrong, no matter how many questions they ask you. Just keep sending them back till they are right for you. Good luck, it is worth the time and trouble.

If you have the Money I would get PEP or Custom Axis. But if you do not have the Money the works shocks are better then stock.
I have had the Works Triple rate shocks on my Banshee and I bent one of them. And at that time I had the Money for the Custom Axis Non adjustable with dual rate spring,
But I still have my works Ultracross on the rear of my banshee

Hmm, if I could have any shocks I wanted, it would be TCS Zero preload, second, I would choose some Elkas, and Third choice would be some tripple rate Works with Rezzies.
