On halloween weekend i was out at dumont and so were a lot of other people. Im just wondering why some spotters and jumpers are so stupid! I was coming up to a main entrance on the left side of the dunes and i had seen a guy jumping there and he had a buddy at the top of the hill I went over a little ways from where the last guy jumped just to be safe and when i was at the bottom of the hill i stopped and the flag guy waved me up, right when i got to the top al i saw was a set of banshee tires coming right at me. He turned to his right a little and jumped over my left fender. He was really close! That scared the sh** out of me! I was close enough to read the brand of his wheels if i wouldve looked. lol. But my question is why are people that stupid? It was a well used route on a steep dune and they were jumping it. The spotter should have stopped the other guy. or maybe he tried to but the jumper guy didnt pay attention. Im not saying nothing bad about jumping. I love to jump. But we go towards the back of the dunes where there is a lot less traffic and who ever is spotting pays attention and we pay attention to them. Please people have a spotter and watch him! I really dont want any bike to head collisions. later.

ive had only one close call. considering that i live in alaska and usually the only person i run into is my best bud .. but when i was on one of the beasty ut,. quads riding with my bud and he hit a jump and then i hit it and he stalled mid air and hit the ground and i almost landed on him if it wasnt for that elec start. that was scary **** though.. i almost landed like right on his head with a 294324 ton quad!!! wew..
