Default tell us your quad stories!!!!!!!!

Tell us your adventures weird things you have seen or things you have done(probably drunk) i know 14mins got some good quad stories! how bout you,how bout the time you and your buddies were riding and the dirt bike clans show up its happed to me , tip 101 never be on a kawasaki mojave when dirtbikers and banshees show up they dont like mojaves!

when riding a mojave i have been....

sprayed with rocks in the face with no gogles by a crazy banshee rider(got him back when i got my shee)

i was surrounded by blasters who were in a racing mood, luckily i could navagate the trails better because they were mad when i said somthing wrong about threre blaster

i was laughed at by a clan of like 100 riders at a gravel pit when i got 3/4 up the bigest hill when a banshee shot past me roosting me causing me to fall of and the quad roll down the hill, lucky the banshee crashed at the top or i would have been the only one who crashed that day

when i ride a banshee i....

am worsheped by the birtbikers

dont get sprayed by rocks no more

and i can now do the hills everone else does! thats my quad story why not to ride a mojave!

Just yesterday, I almost died once again on my quad. I was climbing the biggest gnarliest and not to mention most bumpy hill climb at this huge gravel pit near some property my family owns. I hit it all out in second at was making awesome progress to the top. This time, after flipping it once and getting stuck multiple times, I knew I was going to make it. A good 5 feet from the top, I figured I was spinning way to much to make it to the top. And the night before that, I had watched Huevos 4 where there is some NASTY hill climb flips, and I did not want to flip it. So I let off, and just am sitting 5 feet from the top of this nasty huge hill. I look back over my shoulder and just noticed what a stupid mistake I had made by not completeing the climb. I yell to my friend Aaron, who is about 150 yards away trying to get the whole thing on video, I say "DUDE! Im going to die!" He replys "I know, Im trying to tape it!!". At this point, I knew what I had to do. So I get my body as far foward on the quad as possible and pull in the clutch lever and ease it all the way down this huge hill. I go about .5 mph all the way down the hill, and to my suprise, I make it all the way to the bottom w/o flipping. At this point, I thanked god and got the hell out of there. My friend, who was getting all of this on video, later tells me that the camera ate the tape for the 2nd time that day. I was really pissed, but it was all in fun. BTW, I have shredders, and they rule. I would recommend them to everyone who wants grip. They shread the crap out of anything and make doughnuts fun and easy on pavement!

Got to experience my first crash on Saturday. Feels good to have that over with, and be able to get up and walk away from it.

After flagging course for our Poker Run, I decided to play a little, since the work was done. It had been snowing/raining sheets all day. Took off on a quick ride, alone....#1 mistake. Came to an uphill (well, the MC guys call it a downhill only) that I have been up a few times in the summer when it is dry, have to hang myself as far over my handlebars as I can get to make it over the top. Shouldn't be attempted in the rain!...#2 mistake. Got a pretty good run at it and thought I was on my way....I slid back on my wet seat, and that was all she wrote. Gosh, those things are scary looking when you're on the ground, and they are standing straight up on their hind legs! They look like some kind of a monster! Over it came, pitched me down hill, I was rolling, it was rolling... I finally caught, out of the corner of my eye, my Warrior give one last bounce before it landed on me and rode me the rest of the way down the mountain. Funny the things that go through your head when you're rolling, listening to the rocks chew up your helmet....I wonder how much this is gonna hurt? am I gonna be able to get up? Is my quad gonna run? Seemed to go in slow-mo...the quad had slid off me after it rode me down, it landed on its feet, headlights still on but bent to smitherings, handlebars bent down around the tank. I got up...everything intact. If that wasn't enough, about the same time I was getting up, a big rock slide/wash came down and knocked me back down. Sheesh! My poor little bent machine started right up, and we both limped back to the p/u.

Needless to say, my husband was just a little upset with me.

All in all, my first crasyh wasn't as bad as I had anticipated.....but, I was lucky. It could have gone south just as easily. Glad I was dressed for the crash.
