Yes, cuz spinning wheels get sooo much grip! That is contradictory statement. Yes, wheel spin is neccesary to a point, too much wheel spin and your not going anywhere. The raptor has gobs of hp and torque for over the first 3/4 of the powerband with it slowly falling off after that. The banshee has a lower center of gravity so I think they're both even in this catagory.

Guys Ive had lots of experience in seeing banshees climbing hills. Everyone of them hits it fast, lets off the gas, and then clutches it and throws dirt everywhere. I tried to do the same on my raptor and my frontend almost body slammed me. Wheel spin is a necessity in climbing these hills. Yes its true that the banshee has a lower center of gravity, but the 2 stroke high revving quickness with that huge power band is what makes them the hill climbers they are. Four strokes cant compare to the 2 stroke climbing ability. With the wheel spin and the momentum, the banshee will climb a dang wall!

This is a site dedicated to quads, but since you started it, keep your s2000, because anyone who knows anything about cars would realize that there is no substitute for displacement, and that a "pushrod" V8 develops a hell of a lot of torque, which I believe makes you get off the line quicker(aka, better at drag racing). Torque is what makes a better drag racer! That is why a torquey 440 magnum, would almost be able to keep up with a hemi at the dragstrip (consider that the magnum made 50 less hp but the same amount of torque). Simply put that "pushrod V8" is a hell of a lot better for drag racing, keep in mind that any fox body mustang will simply burn a s2000 especially if you consider the price difference as well. Also let me think the 350 in a camaro or firebird which is in the same price range as the s2000 will absolutely annihilate it. You made the wrong analogy. I have owned 2 banshees and am in the process of getting a 3rd so I do know what that hit in the powerband feels like as well. It is an absolute rush. Raptors are very nice quad as well, but with their weight bias I can understand why they would be more likely to feel tipsy in hill climbing. Banshees are more nose heavy, but the peaky powerband is definitely a hindrance on hill climbs just by the way it breaks the tires loose. Wheelspin is the enemy of momentum!

Would that be why a mustang that costs less can eat a s2000 for lunch? the new mach one upgrade to a gt still costs less than an s2000 and beats the crap out of it on the track and on the strip. An s2000 is pretty fast but nor for what it costs and not for how much technology is in it.

s2000? bahaaha. nice car but come on.. only a punk **** ricer kid would bring up street racing when talking about hill climbing.. come out to pa, we got big hills.

yeah I bet the terrain is not all the much different. We mostly climb the coal slag piles which are sometimes 1000's of feet high.
