This Sounds dumb but If I take discs out of my supertrapp spark arrestor doesnt it make it louder, and give me more power? Or is it when you add them?

 

when you add discs you increase the flow in the mid to high range, thereby adding better performance in this area and increasing the sound decibels also. Conversely, removing discs tend to increase the performance in the lower portion of the band and lessening the decibels. Supertrapp does not recommend running with less than four discs.
Oh, and BTW, the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask!
