Hello I am new to this site and need some advice. I have been around four wheelers for a long time and now I can drive and take it anywhere I want so its time to get one. I am thinking about the 400 Kodiak auto what do yall think.

I can't say enough about mine. I like it more and more each time I ride it. It is one of the more "sporty" utility atv's out there, so it does a good job of handling the trails as well as work. I paid $5499 for my 400 4x4, plow included.

I have a 02 Kodiak. Its been extremely reliable so far. It is a very user friendly atv. I would not think twice about getting another one.

Good Luck

I have a 450 Kodiak and absolutely LOVE it. I would buy another in a second. The features that the 450 offers over the 400 was worth the extra money to me. But that is something that each person would have to decide for themselves and their intended use. I researched the Kodiak heavily and they are very reliable. The only problem I was able to find was a water pump problem when they first came out in 2000. Yamaha redesigned the pump in late 2001 and took care of that problem. Kodiaks are awsome machines. EVERYONE that I have ever talked to that has one loves them.
