I have my 01 now for a 1-1/2 years now not one problem with it.I love the it.I don't no what has you guys talk about that the 01 02 gears are different my buddy has a 02 and i just don't see it the differents between the to gear ratios.And they say not to use reverse well i use it all the time.I don't know maybe i am luck for now.But don't hold back on it i ride hard every time i ride it and remeber if you are going spend alot of money on a Raptor you would think you would take care of it so you do not run into some of those problems.So what i am trying to tell you is if you like that 01 Raptor and it feels right bye it and if you do good luck with it.
