Default Bigger Carb?

When do you hit the point where gettin a bigger carb will give you more power. Also how much does it cost to have a carb bored? I am about to be in the low 30hp range range, and I know I see bigger carbs helping other engines get more power. Thing is the stock 36mm on a warrior is already pretty big. 400ex only has a 35. Think I would gain any more power by going with a 38 or 40? Think it would compliment the porting and top end cam? or is the 36mm enough? If I do need a bigger carb what kinds would fit? I would be wanting one that came stock on something else. Something I can pick up on ebay for pretty cheap.

All this is on a 98 warrior.
