Default help with snow

i am going to take my raptor out in the snow at 5am in the morning. we are going to get 4-5" over night here in PA so i am getting up before work to ride. i have riden a 650 skidoo for 5 or 6 years but have never riden a quad in the snow and i was just wondering what to expect. i hear it is a blast. how will my stock tires do and what kind of speed should i expect. i cant wait till morning. anyone run maxxis for snow tires, i am thinking of getting a pair. any info will help, thanks

the snow can be fun, but if we get to much you could very easily get stuck. watch for the drifts and good luck

i'm not sure, but i'm guessing if we get a reall wet snow its not gonna take to much. I would try to start out without spinning, if thats possable, but you'll have fun

well its is light fluffy snow u can get thourgh quite a bit and if its really wet snow it packs easy u can...... wait till u get a good layer of ice over it an u can go ne where and if you have to go though a drift back up and go wide open as fast as u can and hang on .... u can somtimes jump it but seldom and if u go though a big drift snow will fly everywere its sweet... but go kinda slow cuz u wont get stuck as easy try to spin as lil as possilbe .... ne more advice on snow ridin let me know i ride though it every winter form honda 300 4x4 to ac 300 to blaster to warrior with razrs to warrior with stock tires
