Hey guys what are your best tips on wheelies

Back when my warrior was down on power I could get it up in second and third by standing up then gassing it at the bottom of the power band and tugging up. The front end would come up and then kind of balance with me, but watch it, if you let it go down real fast it will throw you over the bars. After your staning up and got it going you can put one foot on the grab bar for extra balance but it makes it real hard to come back down gracfully, not to mention in 2nd and 3rd your going 30mph so its not to safe.

with my blaster running on pump gas i can do wheelies in 5th gear just by getting it to the powerband and the wide open comes right up and i can ride it til 6th
i can pull wheelies in any gear
i can even pull wheelies on 1 tire
i can pull wheelies standing up, sitting on the bars, standing on the grab bar, and with my feet in the air, i am working on riding wheelies sitting backwards on the tank

well your pretty tallented bad blaster but yours has way more power then mine so the front end would come up easier on yours
good luck on the sitting backwards thing

The 1 wheeled wheelie is tricky! I've been practicing it on the Rap. I can only keep it up for a few seconds....
Im going to the first person to do a backflip on a quad!!!!!!!!!

in response to your wheelie question a long and (safe) wheelie should be done with your right foot just feathering the back brake . bring the front end up then use a balance between the throttle and the brake to keep your position.if you start to go to far back just touch the back brake a little and you can bring the front end down.once you master this technique you should be able to ride a wheelie until you run out of room.one word of caution do not hit that back brake to hard while doing a high speed wheelie or you will bring the front down to fast and eat the dirt real hard and this is speaking from experience. its hard to impress your friends with your quad on top of you and the wind knocked out of you ,not that this has ever happened to me.

Trust me, even if your weak on power just stand up and lean back bit while tugging and slamming the gas, lean forward to meet it so you dont go over backwards. You could make a 5hp lawnmower wheelie like that. I've never tried feathering the rear brake, sounds like a good idea cept I dont have one lol. Make sure you start out working on it in first gear though, then second, other wise you might go over backwards in 3 rd or 4th and cause some bad damage. If it absolutely wont do a wheelie for nothin, sit on the grab bar, go all the way through the powerband in one gear then when you shift rev it up and let it out pretty quick. My warrior just with pipe and air box mod could jump the front tires a foot off the ground with just throttle in second gear if you were sittinng towards the back of the seat. I think my 240 lb but being on the rear of the thing helps a lil. I tried the same thing on my friends blaster but my knees and the handle bars didnt get along (about 6'3").

I love to ride wheelies around dunes. I just go up slowly then slam the gas lean back and feather the brake and gas all the way around. If you want to see pics of it, check my bio.

My #1 tip is practice, practice, practice. It's easier to ride a wheelie just like it's easier to balance a motorcycle at higher speeds. Learn at lower speeds and gradually go faster. if you're a beginner don't go out and pop it up in 5th, start in 1st or 2nd, you'll learn quick.
